Creator invoice template

An invoice gets paid when a finance team can process it without emailing you a question. This layout carries every line they look for: who, what, how much, when it was due, and exactly how to pay. Copy it into your invoicing tool, a doc, or a spreadsheet.

When to use it. Send it the day the work is delivered (or on the date your agreement names), as a PDF or through your invoicing tool, in the same thread as the delivery. An invoice sent late starts its own payment clock late.
