Comparison
BravoDM vs Beacons
Beacons and BravoDM both call themselves creator platforms, and they are built around different centers. Beacons is built around your page: the link in your bio, the store on it, the email list behind it, and a media kit for brand work. BravoDM is built around the brand deal itself: working out what a deal is worth from your audience, pitching it, and tracking it to paid. A creator can use both without overlap doing much harm; the question is which job you are hiring the tool to do.

The short version
If your income is brand deals, BravoDM is the tool built for that job: it prices each deal from what your audience is worth, runs it from pitch to paid, and drafts the chases when payment runs late. Beacons is built for a different job, your page, your store, and the audience business behind them. Deal first, BravoDM; page first, Beacons.

BravoDM's ~ for comment-to-DM is its approval state: the automation runs on Meta's official Instagram API and is in Meta's approval process, as the table below states.
| BravoDM | Beacons | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A deal desk for creators: pricing, brand pitching, a deal pipeline, invoices and payment chases, a public rate card, and comment-to-DM automation. | A creator business platform: link in bio and website builder, a store for digital products, email marketing, affiliate links, and an auto-updating media kit, with an AI teammate (Beam). |
| Who it is built for | Creators whose income is brand deals, Instagram first. | Creators who grow and sell to their own audience; its top plan also serves brands, agencies, and large teams. |
| Where brand deals come from | Brands you choose from a checked catalog of 571 public creator programs (474 ready to pitch), plus any deal you land anywhere and track here. | Your page and media kit: brands come to your link, and an AI outreach email generator helps you write to brands with your media kit attached. |
| How a deal is priced | A published pricing model prices each deal from your audience, the deliverables, and the usage terms: a floor, your number, and a strong ask. | A pricing calculator in the media kit finds your base rates for brand deals, tailored to your platform and audience. |
| How the deal runs to paid | One pipeline from pitch to paid: pitch drafts you approve, the deal's delivery and usage terms on the record, invoices, and chase drafts on a day 1, 7, 14, 30 ladder that you approve before they send. | Invoices you generate, send, track, and follow up inside the same platform as your page and store. |
| Comment-to-DM automation | Comment-to-DM automation on Meta's official Instagram API, with the follow check at the tap. It is in Meta's approval process and rolls out behind the deal desk. | Keyword-triggered Instagram DM automations from Reels, Posts, and Stories; its advanced form opens a two-way chat, can ask for a follow, and can collect emails. |
| Pricing, as published | Free covers the deal pipeline, the pricing calculator, your public rate card, and your top brand matches in each category. Pro is $15/month or $120/year when paid plans open; they are not open yet, so today Pro is a waitlist. BravoDM takes no percentage of a creator's deals. | Free plan $0. Creator $10/month or $100/year. Creator Plus $30/month or $300/year. Creator Max $100/month or $1,000/year. Store sales carry a 9% transaction fee on Free and Creator, and 0% on Creator Plus and Creator Max. |
One deal, priced on the model
BravoDM's pricing model, worked once, so the pricing row above has a number behind it. A lifestyle creator with 32,000 followers prices one Reel ($700), one Story set ($300), and 90 days of usage ($450). Your number: $1,450. That is the model's published worked example, labeled as ours; it is not a market average and not a figure from Beacons. The free calculator runs the same model on your own audience.
Pick Beacons if
- You sell digital products, courses, or memberships to your audience, and you want the store, the page, and the email list in one place.
- You want your media kit to update itself from your linked social accounts.
- Your brand work is one part of a wider audience business, and the page comes first.
Pick BravoDM if
- Brand deals are the income, and you want each one priced from what your audience is worth before you quote.
- You pitch brands yourself and want the full run, pitch to paid, tracked in one pipeline with the chases drafted for you.
- You want no percentage taken out of your deals, on a flat plan when Pro opens.
- You want the number settled before the negotiation: a floor you will not go below, your number, and a strong ask, all from one published model.
- You want late payment chased without writing every chase yourself: drafts on day 1, 7, 14, and 30, and you approve each one before it sends.
- You want comment-to-DM automation where the follow is checked at the tap before the link goes out.
